How to Paint with Bubbles

We are huge fans of classic music, especially The Beetles. They inspired this bubble painted plates with an octopus design and the saying, "I'd like to be, under the sea; in an octopus' garden in the sea." In this video we show you how you can mix dish soap with water and paint to create a fun bubbly look. 


Steps to Paint Bubble Plate



Step 1: Mix a little paint with liquid soap and water in a cup


Step 2: blow bubbles in your cup with a long straw until the bubbles spill over onto your plate


Step 3: Let your bubbles pop or pop them. 


Step 4: Use 2-3 more colors of bubble mixture to layer up colors of bubbles on your plate.


Step 5: Let all your bubbles pop and dry




Step 6: Use transfer paper to trace your saying and design onto your project. 


Step 7: Trace your design and saying with one of our fun writers


Step 8: Leave the craft with us to fire and finish your masterpiece. Usually takes 1-2 weeks to complete this project.
