January 24, 2019

Come paint with us! Join us and learn how to paint a fun BYU vs UofU chip bowl. This bowl is big enough for a whole bag of chips, popcorn or load of healthy veggies. We'll show you how to use stickers and create the saying "HOUSE DIVIDED" with the logos of rivalry teams. We chose BYU vs U of U (my alma mater). This craft is simple and easy for all ages to create. After we fire the bowl it is food safe and dishwasher safe. Lulu's Crafty Corner is located in Payson and Provo to come in a paint a craft of your choice. Where we never have studio fees and we bake you a cookie while you paint!

Steps to Paint Personalized Pet Bowl

Step 1: Pick your favorite sized bowl to paint. We have lots of options from personalized cereal bowls, large chip bowls to giant watermelon sized bowls. This project is easy to paint on any of them. See our bowl selection here.

Step 2: Place the stickers on the bowl. We started with the football stitch sticker. We cut it out in multiple pieces so it's easy to stick down. Then place your letter stickers and two team logos on the bowl.

Step 3: Paint 3-4 coats of your favorite color of glaze on the bowl. We chose classic navy blue for BYU and really red with black sprinkles for U of U.

Step 4: Peel off the personalized stickers to reveal your awesome design.

Step 5: Leave your awesomely painted bowl with us to fire. It usually takes 1-2 weeks to get back.

Step 6: Take your project home to enjoy for years to come. It is dishwasher safe, thank goodness, because your bowl will be so loved you'll need to wash it every day.

Step 6: Come and paint again at Lulu's! Hope you enjoy our videos and painting with us. If you need help painting this craft or any other, just let us know. It's one of the best parts of our job.
