Steps to Paint Happy Bird-Day Plate
Step 1: Pick your favorite beer stein to paint on or mug, or plate or any craft with a flat surface for the stickers to be placed.
Step 2: Place the stickers on the mug
Step 3: Paint 3-4 coats of green on the mug. We chose to work with green sprinkles, light green and dark green glazes.
Step 4: You can choose to paint the mug with all one color or paint the inside, bottom and handle different colors. We also chose to blend the colors on one of the mugs.
Step 5: Blend colors by dipping half of your paint brush in one color and the other half in another color and paint it on your mug back and forth to blend the colors on the mug.
Step 6: Take off all the stickers from your beer stein.
Step 7: Leave your mug with us to bake it in our kiln. This usually takes 1-2 weeks.
